Referrals and Physicians

A physician's referral is not necessary to book an appointment with us, and most patients come to us direct. Nevertheless, your physician's role in your treatment remains essential. We believe in a multidisciplinary approach and will therefore ensure that our patients contact their family physician as soon as possible.

The Active Care Physiotherapy Team

With the Active Care Physio team, you are quite literally in good hands! Our clinic is owned and staff by three highly experienced physiotherapists registered with The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, Chris Cole, Laura Cole and Vanessa Lurvey. Working at Active Care Physiotherapy has introduced Tammy to the joy of being physically active. This was something she hasn’t necessarily “enjoyed” in the past. Chris and Laura are great coaches and encourage her every step of the way!

Tammy enjoys spending time with her grown family and takes pleasure in making quilts for others to wrap up in. Her and her husband love to cook a gourmet meal and entertain friends and family every chance they get.
